  • How to log in
  • The first page that you encounter is the homepage where you have to login in order to make the necessary changes. Click login and put your user name and password.


    You will notice a new link named admin. Click on this link.


    This will take you to another page as the one shown below.



  • Uploading the school logo and banner.
  • With this page you can modify or add any content to your website. Let’s begin with putting the school logo at the top. Click on the link site configuration. It gives you some options one of which is a link named logo.


  • Click on logo then click the browse button and a window will pop up showing the images already available for use or no image if you are accessing it for the first time, if you need to upload a new image click on the ‘Browse’ button to pick an image on your computer/ flash disk/ cd/ diskette.


  • After picking the image you want click on the upload button. Click on the image and it will be loaded to the page.


  • Next we put shall the school a banner on the page. Click on the banner link. From here the process is similar to inputting the logo. The page will now have a logo and a banner as shown below.


  • Adding color to the website
  • To add color to the web page click on the site configuration link on the home page. It takes you back to the selection page. Click on the link color themes and it brings this page. Here you can change the background color, text color, horizontal and vertical colors. Click on any of the icons on the right hand side depending on which part you want to change. A dialog box appears that contains a wide range of colors on which to choose from. After making all the necessary changes click on the activate color scheme at the bottom to apply the changes.



  • Adding and changing information
  • Next we can change or add new material in the web page. Click on the page you want to modify and click admin. You will have a page that you can place the contents to be added. Shown below is the homepage.


    After adding your contents click on the save button at the bottom and click on the link that you were changing and the changes made will now appear.



  • CREATING A NEW PAGE
  • One may need to add a new page to the website, this can be done by clicking the admin link and click adds a page.Input the name of the page e.g. Board of directors, and save the page. If the page is about a club make sure you check the box.



  • HOW TO INSERT AN IMAGE
  • In the admin section click on ‘Upload Image’

  • A window will pop up showing the images already available for use, if you need to upload a new image click on the ‘Browse’ button to pick an image on your computer/ flash disk/ cd/ diskette


  • After picking the image you want click on the ‘Upload’ button
  • The pop-up window will now show the new list of images including the one just uploaded.To use the uploaded image copy its link



  • Place the cursor where you want to place the image.Click on ‘Insert/Edit Image’ link.A window will pop up and will ask for the image url, dimensions, space between itself and the text and alignment.It is advisable to give a definite alignment to allow for text to wrap around the image, give some space – normally 5 pixels are more than enough (typing 5 in Vertical Space and Horizontal Space).


    Once through with editing of the page remember to press the ‘Save’ button.


    NB: For saving DO NOT use Control+S. It will not work. If you are reusing an image, simply jump steps 2 and 3
